About the Role

The Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing at Global Industrial is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive lead generation and brand awareness. The role involves leading cross-functional teams in digital, email, and content marketing efforts to support the customer purchase journey, with a focus on demand generation programs including email, digital marketing, campaign management, content marketing, promotions, product introductions, and traditional advertising channels. Global Industrial has been an industry leader for over 70 years, providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses across North America, serving a diverse customer base from small companies to Fortune 100 corporations, government institutions, and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead all aspects of comprehensive campaign strategies, including ABM, aligned with business objectives to drive pipeline and activation growth.
  • Oversee and align product, channel, media, and marketing strategies through an integrated marketing calendar that the team will operate against.
  • Lead development of marketing strategies and execution plans across all touchpoints in the customer journey.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-value customer segments and build a strategic roadmap for personalized and segmented communication and experiences.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to understand product and New Product Introduction, and create go-to-market plans with unique channel experiences.
  • Work with external partners and public relations to develop and execute media advertising strategies to drive leads and brand awareness.
  • Oversee development of high-quality content for the Knowledge Center to enhance brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Manage email and SMS strategy and execution, including communications planning, personalization, A/B testing, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Identify, measure, and optimize key programs and resources to improve marketing performance and value.
  • Lead the development and implementation of technology stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Account Engage) to streamline operations, monitor performance, and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B marketing leadership with 10+ years of experience in high-tech B2B marketing, including cloud marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in leading ABM strategy and marketing programs within a B2B Salesforce environment.
  • Experience with all segment sizes, from Enterprise to SMB.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance, identify insights, and optimize strategies.
  • Technical proficiency with marketing technologies such as automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Account Engage), analytics, and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to adopt new technologies and drive digital transformation.
  • Business acumen with a deep understanding of B2B customer needs and effective marketing translation.

  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns in a high-tech B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and analytics tools.
