Sr Graphic Designer - Columbia, SC

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create original consumer products packaging and product catalog designs from initial ideation through final production.
• Design and execute graphic materials for point of purchase displays, trade show displays, sales collateral, presentations, advertising, and online content.
• Plan and produce high-quality product and lifestyle photography content for multiple brands.
• Manage and organize all content using third-party digital asset management platforms such as Dropbox and Brandfolder.
• Create physical mockups for consumer product packaging concepts.
• Execute online content and product merchandising on internal and customer websites.
• Organize and ship branded seasonal trade show booths.
• Develop and maintain understanding of existing product offerings and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure brand consistency across all projects by understanding customer and internal brand requirements.
• Assist Product Manager in delivering creative elements for new product development and launches.
• Lead corporate branding initiatives and communication within the office.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
• Meet all deadlines and ensure materials adhere to brand standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Develop and maintain sustainable processes for creative requests and project tracking.

Requirements

• Portfolio required with application.
• Superior skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other professional design tools.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design and/or marketing design.
• BS/BA in design, visual arts, or related fields.
• Proven ability to collaborate across design, development, and marketing disciplines.
• Knowledge and understanding of composition and color.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and creativity under deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously.
• Packaging and catalog design experience is preferred.
• Video production experience is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
