The Membership Portfolio Services within our US Consumer Services Business develops and scales several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express, focusing on strengthening the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants to drive growth over the mid-to-long term. The Sr. Manager, Amex Offers Product Strategy, sits within the Amex Offers Digital Media team, reporting to the Director, Global Product and Partnerships, and is responsible for setting strategies for a best-in-class Offer management system, focusing on targeting, segmentation, and identifying strategic opportunities to scale Offers and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the Offers landscape and create and own short, medium and long-term strategies that will help us achieve our goals.
  • Manage forums for user feedback and testing and communicate new product rollouts and capabilities back to users.
  • Develop and own customer journey maps and identify relevant personas and use cases for features.
  • Assess business critical needs and create prioritization framework for new features and updates to existing functionality.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and define opportunities and communicate requirements, timelines and launch plans accordingly.
  • Manage requests and enhancements for core global markets and assist with product rollouts in these markets as part of the Global Center of Excellence.
  • Define, track, and socialize metrics of success.

Requirements

  • Experience working in digital product strategy or product development and launching digital experiences from start to finish.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different time zones including US, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple business and technology workstreams with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with white space to design technical solutions for complex business problems.
  • Ability to analyze data to determine priorities, opportunities, and issues with the product.
  • Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and manage through ambiguity and rapid change.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital media or offer management systems.
  • Knowledge of segmentation and targeting capabilities in digital marketing.
  • Experience working in a global or international environment.
