About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Brand Activation leads the development and execution of the Integrated Marketing plan for the Tempur-Pedic brand. This role involves defining activation strategies, managing creative resources and agencies, and ensuring the flawless delivery of advertising campaigns to drive demand and brand preference. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, adding value through strategic brand activation and advertising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders including Brand Management, Media, PR, Retail Marketing, Customer Marketing, DTC, TRS, Alt Channel, and Brand Experience to create and execute the annual Tempur-Pedic Integrated Marketing Plan and manage communications, touchpoints, and reporting cadence.
  • Organize resources and lead end-to-end execution of national advertising campaigns, including writing briefs, collaborating with media, developing advertising assets across multiple channels, and ensuring assets are delivered on time, within budget, and with legal approval.
  • Optimize advertising creative performance by analyzing metrics, identifying opportunities, and implementing creative and messaging improvements.
  • Develop and implement advertising test & learn plans in collaboration with media and agency partners, analyze results, and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Lead the development of strategic campaigns linked to product launches, including writing briefs, selecting agency partners, managing research, and overseeing pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
  • Manage brand presence on social media channels such as Meta, Pinterest, and YouTube, including creating and updating evergreen content, testing new capabilities, and optimizing paid advertising.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on key competitors’ positioning, messaging, tactics, and advertising effectiveness, and recommend responses.
  • Represent Brand Activation in cross-functional meetings, prepare presentations, and communicate feedback effectively.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure cohesive messaging and activation, sharing work in progress and adjusting based on feedback.
  • Track and manage budgets, process invoices, and support budget planning efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience managing integrated marketing planning and execution, advertising, and creative development for a consumer brand.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven.
  • Skilled at managing the creative process and inspiring excellence from agency partners.
  • Ability to travel approximately once a month to agency meetings, photoshoots, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
