About the Role

Ralph Lauren is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Sr. Manager, Brand Activations (West) to manage the development and strategic execution of marketing initiatives across the West region with focus on Los Angeles, CA. The role involves driving qualified traffic, developing brand engagement tactics, and ensuring seamless translation of brand vision into localized, consumer-focused markets. This position serves as a key liaison between corporate marketing, store management, retail field teams, and external partners, with a focus on creating best-in-class customer experiences and supporting regional activations in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing strategy that aligns with national and global brand initiatives and meets commercial needs.
  • Drive development of new customer acquisition and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) strategies.
  • Plan and execute retail activations, client experiences, localized brand partnerships, community-driven moments, and PR opportunities to increase traffic, sales, and brand desirability.
  • Identify high-potential regional brand partnerships to amplify visibility and engage key consumer segments.
  • Support new store openings, tourism initiatives, and seasonal moments to drive engagement and customer acquisition.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including retail management, corporate marketing, and PR to create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute in-store activations and community-driven events, managing the full lifecycle of planning.
  • Manage logistics such as vendor procurement, partnership agreements, sourcing materials, and guest lists for seamless event execution.
  • Oversee onsite event coordination, including setup and breakdown, and post-event analysis including sales and exposure reports.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.
  • Analyze regional market insights, including competitive and consumer trends, to inform strategy.
  • Leverage data insights to refine marketing efforts and optimize customer engagement and event impact.
  • Track and report key performance metrics related to events and activations.
  • Serve as the primary retail marketing contact for the West Coast, building relationships with store management, internal teams, PR agencies, and local partners.
  • Ensure alignment of regional efforts with national campaigns and strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the West Coast regional markets, especially Los Angeles, and understanding of the consumer and competitive landscape.
  • Management experience in retail stores and the retail field.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ability to learn technical applications quickly.
  • Experience in luxury brand store and event management.
  • Event management and local PR experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to work weekend hours and travel as required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship building.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Qualifications
