Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and ongoing stewardship of all paid media strategies. Engage with Agency partners to develop media recommendations, manage modeling efforts with the analytics team, and execute media plans.
  • Be the internal subject matter expert to the brand organization inclusive of best practices across the media and digital landscapes.
  • Lead media objectives & strategy development, make budget recommendations, coordinate timing and approval for financial commitments, challenge and oversee media buying and regular post buy analysis.
  • Partner with Henkel's Global media department on reporting and media best practices.
  • Translate brand challenges and communication goals into media objectives and plans.
  • Participate in inter-agency planning (IAT) and collaboration.
  • Lead Henkel paid media investment, data strategy, audience development and measurement.
  • Manage partner relationships with Amazon, Meta, & Google, and lead development of new partnerships.
  • Work with the Director on advancing media products, prioritizing business needs, and managing day-to-day agency relationships.
  • Understand the retail media landscape and coordinate with national media throughout the planning process.
  • Track and manage media performance.
  • Oversee media agency and lead creative agency remuneration tracking and annual performance scorecard.
  • Input into Media Test and Learn Projects based on media requirements.
  • Develop and provide recommendations on larger activations beyond standard channel runs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in media / digital marketing or similar area.
  • 10+ years of experience in media agency planning/buying department and/or CPG marketing with responsibility for media planning.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence brand management and be decisive.
  • Strong project management experience, including managing internal and external resources.
  • Experience in media plan development across all channels - TV, OLV, OTT/CTV, Social, Display, Audio, Programmatic, AMS/AMG, Print, OOH.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to challenge status quo, and high energy level.
  • Ability to analyze data quickly and accurately to provide recommendations.
  • Knowledge of media planning & digital reporting tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in retail media landscape and coordinating with national media.
  • Experience in developing new media partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in media or digital marketing (Bachelor's degree).
  • Extensive experience in media planning and buying, particularly in CPG or agency environments.
