Sr Marketing Automation Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of personalized, data-driven customer journeys across email, SMS, web, and other digital channels.
• Translate complex business objectives into actionable Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions, leveraging tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
• Partner with sales enablement, inside sales, and marketing teams to align demand generation programs, enhance lead tracking, and improve performance reporting.
• Design and develop segmentation strategies, maintain data quality standards, and support marketing efforts with accurate data.
• Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing automation programs supporting campaigns, webinars, tradeshows, and internal initiatives.
• Develop and optimize digital assets like dynamic content, landing pages, and campaign creative to support lead generation and customer lifecycle journeys.
• Lead the administration and optimization of client data sets, applying advanced segmentation strategies for targeted campaigns.
• Evaluate emerging trends and innovations in marketing automation and email marketing to drive strategic advantage.
• Mentor and train team members on segmentation, data governance, and platform workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of marketing experience with demand generation and marketing automation exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrations with CRM systems like Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred.
• Experience developing customer journey maps or lifecycle frameworks.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, customer lifecycle strategies, and data privacy compliance.
• Proven ability to manage campaign builds from strategy to deployment and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office, CRM programs, and HTML for email templates.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Datorama/Intelligence.

Qualifications
