About the Role

The Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager for Competitors at Cloud Software Group is a high-impact role focused on developing and executing aggressive marketing campaigns aimed at displacing specific competitors. Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, the role involves strategic planning, competitive analysis, and hands-on campaign execution to disrupt the market, change perceptions, and drive technology adoption. The ideal candidate is data-driven, results-obsessed, and excels at turning competitive insights into decisive actions that impact business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of aggressive, multi-channel compete campaigns designed to convert customers from rival companies and create account intimacy.
  • Collaborate with teams on competitor analysis to identify strategic weaknesses, product gaps, and market opportunities for targeted marketing programs.
  • Design and implement 'always-on' competitive campaigns to maintain pressure, intercept key accounts, and capture market share.
  • Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, including intelligence gathering, strategy formulation, execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Partner with and direct external agencies to ensure campaign activities are sharp, on-brand, and goal-focused.
  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert and primary driver for competitive marketing campaigns, aligning internal teams around a unified GTM approach.
  • Translate complex competitive intelligence and business objectives into clear, impactful campaign plans.
  • Communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders including executive leadership.
  • Define and own KPIs for all campaigns, focusing on competitor displacement, market share shifts, and customer acquisition.
  • Lead post-campaign inspections to analyze performance, identify lessons learned, and improve future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build and refine reporting dashboards for real-time campaign performance tracking.
  • Analyze campaign data to measure account takeover and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Manage the competitive campaign budget with accuracy, providing forecasts and updates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in campaign management or performance marketing with a focus on competitive strategy, preferably in B2B technology.
  • Track record of developing and executing marketing campaigns that impact competitors and drive business growth.
  • Tenacious, results-obsessed mindset with a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.
  • Excellent project management skills to lead high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven with expertise in marketing analytics, reporting, and using data to demonstrate success.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua), CRM systems (e.g., Oracle), and competitive intelligence tools.
  • Oral and written fluency in English.
