Key Responsibilities

Own global go-to-market for the Data Security Portfolio inside an AI-first marketing organization that cares about results over theatrics.
Craft positioning that proves our discovery-to-encryption platform closes DSPM gaps, thwarts quantum era threats, and generally saves the day.
Partner with product, sales, and multiple marketing disciplines to turn bright ideas into revenue quickly.
Build punchy, differentiated narratives for data discovery, tokenization, DSPM, and PETs that communicate value clearly and back it up with technical expertise.
Track and out-position data security competitors like Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Cyera, Thales, IBM Guardium, Imperva, and Protegrity.
Orchestrate product releases, hero use cases (such as DSPM and cloud-agnostic encryption), and customer proof points to ensure launch discipline.
Create sales and partner enablement tools such as battlecards, calculators, talk tracks, and training to improve win rates.
Align demand-generation campaigns with persona-based pain points (CISOs, Data Privacy Officers, DBAs) and compelling events (breach, privacy law, data audit).
Mine analyst, customer, and market data to inform product direction and stay ahead of competitive threats.

Requirements

8+ years in enterprise software with 5+ years in cybersecurity or data security product marketing.
Hands-on experience launching or messaging DSPM, discovery/classification, encryption/tokenization, DLP, or database activity monitoring.
Experience working with or competing against data security vendors like Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Security, Cyera, Thales CipherTrust, IBM Guardium, Imperva, or Protegrity.
Familiarity with AI marketing tools: experience using GenAI or ML-based AI (not just reading about it).
Ability to translate technical concepts into value propositions for CISOs, CIOs, CDOs, and Data Security Engineers.
Proven success enabling sales teams to meet or exceed quotas.
Strong storytelling skills for stage, camera, or analyst calls, inspiring confidence in audiences.
Data-driven, self-directed, and proactive in taking initiative.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI marketing tools such as GenAI or ML-based AI.
Experience in competitive analysis within the data security space.
