This role presents an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join the team and oversee the development of Threat Intelligence offerings, as well as key components of other Microsoft security products such as Microsoft Sentinel. The role involves driving alignment between market trends, customer needs, and product advancements, collaborating with various stakeholders, and formulating product marketing strategies for Threat Intelligence technology and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the core inbound Product Marketing Manager for Threat Intelligence technology.
  • Hold accountabilities related to the Sentinel SIEM product.
  • Partner closely with product engineering, security research, product marketing, business development, and other functions to design strategy and align execution.
  • Engage with both customers and partners to solicit input used to inform product design and go-to-market approach.
  • Foster diversity and inclusion within a thriving team while role modeling Microsoft's culture.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5 years experience in business OR Masters Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3 years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or product marketing.
  • 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8 years experience in business OR Masters Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6 years experience in business.
  • Solid strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical aptitude to understand security stack, competitor offerings, and market trends.
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategies.

  • The typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year.
  • Different pay ranges apply to specific locations such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City, with ranges USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
