About the Role

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Photoshop role at Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA), is a contract position based in San Francisco, CA. The role involves contributing to Photoshop's short- and long-term business goals by influencing go-to-market, marketing, and product strategies to accelerate growth. The manager will work on global, consumer-facing initiatives to drive consideration, adoption, engagement, and retention of Photoshop across surfaces and audiences, while strengthening the creative community and supporting profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Help define and execute on the GTM strategy required to propel Photoshop's growth, including mapping out quarterly product marketing strategies and executing outbound marketing efforts with partner teams.
Partner closely with product teams to understand new and updated features to inform product marketing strategy, feature prioritization, and objectives/KPIs.
Develop key positioning and messaging for product marketing moments, validated by customers and the community, to drive the target audience to take action.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as PR/Comms, Marketing Go-to-Market, Community, Social Data Science, Regional teams, and Legal to deliver value to customers and execute integrated marketing moments.
Engage deeply on social channels to understand and address customer needs and sentiment drivers.
Set goals and targets to assess the impact of initiatives based on benchmarks and industry standards, continually optimizing efforts.

Requirements

Product marketing experience with a track record of developing and executing impactful efforts aligned to broader business strategies.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and present to executives and decision makers.
Deep experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar advanced imaging tools, understanding key use cases and workflows.
Strong, data-driven strategic thinking regarding market opportunities and customer retention.
Results-oriented with outstanding analytical skills to inform strategy and optimize plans.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive key workstreams.
7+ years of product marketing experience in consumer software technology.
Passion for creativity and empowering creators.
Proven ability to drive business growth through high-impact outbound marketing initiatives.
Ability to define problems amidst ambiguity and act autonomously.
Experience influencing highly matrixed teams with differing goals and KPIs.
Patience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Global culturalization and localization experience.
