About the Role

The Sr Product Owner - Digital Sales is responsible for managing and optimizing the digital sales funnel within a banking environment. The role involves structuring and briefing A/B testing experiments to drive growth aligned with organizational goals, communicating product vision to executive leaders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance digital sales and account opening processes. The position is based in Charlotte, NC, and is offered as a 6+ month contract with potential extension, working with Matlen Silver, a company with over 40 years of experience delivering solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure and brief A/B testing experiments to optimize the digital sales funnel and drive growth.
  • Write clear, detailed requirements for authoring and development teams focused on sales initiatives.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy to executive leaders and secure buy-in on priorities and approaches.
  • Navigate measurement strategies with partners such as analytics and marketing.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and get up to speed rapidly with team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in digital sales, digital marketing, or account opening.
  • Knowledge of a digital sales funnel in a bank and ability to structure and brief A/B testing experiments.
  • Ability to write detailed requirements for creative and technical teams.
  • Ability to communicate product vision and strategy effectively to executive leaders.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership building skills and ability to quickly adapt to new teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on organizational value and make trade-offs.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Figma is desired.

  • Experience with direct-to-consumer financial services flow.
