Key Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various software applications and systems.
Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of complex software applications and systems, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Manage execution and delivery of features and projects, negotiating priorities and deadlines to ensure successful and timely completion with quality.
Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders and in the architectural design of new features and systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Review code developed by other developers, provide feedback, and maintain a high bar of technical excellence, including adherence to industry standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
Build testable software, define tests, participate in testing processes, automate tests using tools (e.g., Junit, Selenium), and leverage design patterns and the test automation pyramid.
Maintain the health and quality of services, proactively identify and resolve issues, utilize telemetry and service health indicators, conduct root cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Work within a DevOps model, taking ownership from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software in production.
Properly document new features, enhancements, or fixes, and contribute to training materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
Proficiency with version control systems like GitHub and bug/work tracking systems like JIRA.
Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Networking experience.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with developing accessible technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
