About the Role

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Powered by premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology, we're making it easier for buyers and sellers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels. As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world. Reporting to the Manager, Client Solutions, you are the primary point of contact for your clients, working closely with Sales to provide solutions for Strata's newest customers, consulting on their initial pre-sales engagement, implementation, and subsequent steady-state handoff to Account and Support teams. You will engage with enterprise clients and mid to small agencies to ensure technical needs are met, issues are resolved promptly, and complex questions about our Strata Agency products are answered during implementation. Your goal is to ensure clients successfully onboard, increase their spend on our platform, and optimize solutions for existing customers. You will work as part of a global team, coaching junior teammates, driving governance, and defining strategies to scale best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales on pre-sales engagements, elicit customer technical and business KPIs, and define the success criteria of an engagement.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding plans to scale customer spend through the platform.
  • Lead your client through product implementations, helping to shorten time to value and maximize return on investment.
  • Design, configure, test, and deliver software solutions, leveraging skills such as SQL, API management, Datadog, Visual Studio, AWS, Python/JavaScript.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, particularly in media teams and Ad Ops.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) on Strata Agency products for clients and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues deeply and manage complex issues requiring product and engineering resources.
  • Manage post-implementation projects and optimizations, ranging from process to technical projects.
  • Develop and maintain documentation outlining best practices and procedures.
  • Coach and support junior team members to develop their expertise.
  • Spearhead internal and client-facing initiatives to meet broader team and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of work experience in a technical customer-facing or support role in AdTech.
  • Client-centric, exceptional communicator with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital media, especially within media agencies or servicing them.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry, demand side media agencies, and advertisers' goals and mechanics.
  • High level of initiative and self-starter mentality, comfortable handling ambiguity.
  • Hands-on experience with software configuration and data manipulation to meet client needs.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical acumen in troubleshooting, SQL, and APIs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Datadog, Visual Studio, AWS, Python, JavaScript.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred), or extensive related professional experience or coursework.
  • Relevant work experience of 2-5 years.
