About the Role

Provides pre-sales consultation, training, and education to partners with a goal of helping them build and/or enhance their practice, by expanding their business with new and emerging vendors/products/services (i.e., solutions), and with a practical result of growing their business with Ingram at a faster rate. Builds reseller and vendor relationships and gains trusted status for transparent collaboration and planning of business needs. Comprehensively educates partners on best-in-class IT solutions to facilitate the building of practices in areas of focus. Raises the technical proficiency of the customer to win more business through sound product and technical focus and market relevance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively introduce, demonstrate, and train on modern business needs, desired business outcomes, market trends and opportunities, emerging technologies, vendors & products, and high-margin professional services.
  • Enable partners to become more proactive, profitable, and services-driven trusted advisors to their end-user clientele.
  • Provide relevant thought leadership and strategic advice to decision-makers and key stakeholders to influence their investment in growth through Ingram Micro.

Requirements

  • Specialist in technical or business skills with a customer focus and the ability to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
  • Four-year college degree or additional relevant experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of functional experience including at least 3 years of specific experience.
  • Ability to contribute significantly to processes and systems.
  • Hold advanced badges and certifications in 'advanced solutions' technology categories.
  • Exhibit high levels of executive presence, business acumen, sales acumen, and technical acumen.

  • Advanced badges and certifications in 'advanced solutions' technology categories.
  • Experience with strategic advice and thought leadership in technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Base pay range of USD $97,100.00 - $165,100.00 per year, depending on location, experience, and role complexity.
