Sr, UX Designer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design work streams, tackling complex business challenges and crafting innovative solutions for product stocking, pricing, and promotions.
• Champion the user, ensuring their needs are central to every design decision from initial concept to launch.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to create exceptional user experiences.
• Transform complex data and financial insights into intuitive and actionable interfaces.
• Execute the full design process, including journey mapping, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Maintain design consistency and excellence, adhering to brand standards and UI guidelines while pushing the boundaries of data visualization.
• Effectively communicate design solutions to internal teams and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of design excellence by promoting best practices and industry-leading tools like Figma.
• Navigate stakeholder involvement and ensure alignment across all organizational levels.
• Balance traditional UX principles with innovative thinking to guide users toward new ways of working and optimize business processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX, UI, or a blended UX/UI design role.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other industry-standard design tools.
• A proven track record of driving and delivering design projects from concept to launch.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing experience in designing mobile, web, desktop, and other digital experiences.
• Strong understanding of material design and native patterns.

Nice to Have

• Ability to align team members around a shared vision for the digital experience and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Experience designing and launching successful products across the product development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating user needs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within Agile or SAFe methodologies.
• Knowledge of design systems and component-based design.
• Strong grasp of UI design principles including visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography.
• Familiarity with WCAG and creating inclusive, accessible designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or relevant work experience.
