About the Role

Position Summary... Help Reimagine Retail with the Power of AI. At Walmart, we're leveraging AI to redefine how products are imagined, created, and brought to market. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our mission and help shape what comes next. This role involves building cutting-edge technology that empowers the world's largest retailer to act with the agility of a startup and the influence of a Fortune 1 company. You'll be at the forefront of real-time insights from massive data streams, leading the development of AI/Gen AI-powered tools for product creation, and collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and senior leadership to drive strategic product development at an enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining product strategy and roadmaps for high-impact, AI-driven initiatives.
  • Translating emerging AI/Gen AI capabilities into tangible, valuable experiences.
  • Collaborating across disciplines to bring ideas from concept to scale.
  • Crafting a compelling vision for the future of product innovation.
  • Balancing bold experimentation with thoughtful execution, moving fast while paying attention to details.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant Product Management experience.
  • Proven experience building AI or Gen AI-powered products at scale.
  • Sharp product intuition, especially in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.

Nice to Have

  • Background in trend forecasting, consumer product innovation, or fast-moving industries.
  • Experience in strategy consulting or corporate development.
  • Passion for where culture meets commerce.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Experience with assistive technologies and digital accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area with 6 years' experience as a product manager.
