About the Role

The Strategic Account Manager (US, Enterprise) at GitGuardian is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with enterprise clients primarily across North America and Europe. The role involves working closely with various internal teams to ensure customer success, renewals, and upselling opportunities, while representing GitGuardian's cybersecurity solutions to high-level stakeholders. The candidate will be part of a global, remote-friendly team in a fast-growing cybersecurity scale-up that leads in Non-Human Identity security and serves over 600,000 developers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field all expansion opportunities and renewal processes for your portfolio, working closely with your partners on the Customer Success Management team to understand potential new value areas.
  • Present and sell GitGuardian's products and services to accounts, including facilitating demos and running presentations with C-level executives.
  • Leverage marketing efforts to create a compelling value proposition and provide insights into how your accounts can maximize their relationship with GitGuardian.
  • Collaborate with adjoining teams to strategize on your sales approach.
  • Update and maintain client activity details in CRM systems such as Hubspot, Tableau, Gong, and Apollo.io for accurate forecasting and leadership visibility.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs.
  • Travel to key client accounts and external events as appropriate, with an estimated travel of 35-50%.
  • Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and management reports.

Requirements

  • Technical understanding with experience selling software to Cybersecurity, Dev, or DevOps teams.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience with complex sales cycles lasting 3-6 months, involving multiple stakeholders and multithreading.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational and project management skills to anticipate renewals and work effectively with internal partners.
  • Analytical skills to study customer feature usage and make improvement recommendations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with international clients, especially in North America and Europe.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hubspot, Tableau, Gong, and Apollo.io.
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or related tech fields.
