About the Role

Would you like to develop customer-centric experience, loyalty and CRM strategies for some of the world's strongest brands? With a large and growing portfolio of clients, we are looking for a proactive and business-savy Strategy Consultant for our US office in Austin! You will be part of our global Customer and Business Strategy Consulting team, developing recommendations to executive management, and supporting large-scale transformation within some of the biggest companies in the world. You will work with different clients and projects simultaneously while collaborating with the broader VML MAP organization.

Key Responsibilities

Building stakeholder relationships and developing client accounts, ensuring a strategic growth agenda and supporting them in the transformation/implementation of new strategies.
Defining clients' future digital marketing strategies and drawing accurate and insightful recommendations across topics like CRM strategy, vision statement, value proposition and life-cycle optimization, omni-channel strategy, loyalty programmes, lead management, opportunity mapping and roadmap developments.
Analyzing current marketing performance data and metrics and developing robust business cases.
Taking ownership of the development and day-to-day management of client deliverables and presentations with strong visual aesthetic and strategic rigor.
Supporting our client and growth team with sales and new business development.
Developing Point of Views, acting as Subject Matter Expert, and sharing best practices with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience from a strategy consulting house or an in-house corporate strategy department.
A commercial background, ideally with exposure to marketing, digital and customer growth environments.
A relevant degree; preferably within business administration, strategy, marketing, finance or similar.
Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments with many stakeholders on a global level.
The ability to shift between working from a helicopter view down to the detailed aspects.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
A high skill level of business case modeling.
Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter, can-do mentality.
Ability to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, drawing sound insights and recommendations supported by a clear and concise storyline.
Willingness to travel and have a flexible mindset.

Nice to Have

Experience with personalized customer experiences and marketing automation.
Experience working with clients across multiple industries including FMCG, retail, fashion, automotive, and financial services.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in business administration, strategy, marketing, finance or similar.
3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
