About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Student Website Developer at Fidelity Partners, where you will play a key role in building and maintaining web content that supports our academic and community goals. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop your technical skills, contribute to real-world projects, and collaborate with staff and peers to deliver sleek, functional, and accessible web experiences. The position is based in San Antonio, TX, and involves working part-time to support web development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop website pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implement and customize CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Wix)
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather content and design requirements
Ensure websites meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design practices
Maintain and update existing sites, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize performance
Assist with graphics and multimedia integration
Participate in regular team check-ins and project planning meetings

Requirements

Enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Computer Science, Design, or related field
Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS)
Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic SEO principles
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks

Nice to Have

Knowledge of PHP or React
Portfolio or sample projects

Qualifications
