About the Role

The Office for Sustainability Education at the University of Utah seeks a student intern to help promote and run the Sustainable Campus Initiative Fund (SCIF) program. The intern will assist with outreach, program tracking, social media, data entry, administrative support, blog writing, and campus engagement to make the program engaging and accessible for the entire campus community. The role aims to empower students, employees, and the wider community to build a sustainable future through education, engagement, and collaborative action.

Key Responsibilities

Track projects as they move through various administrative processes.
Enter all projects and applications into a database for tracking and reporting purposes.
Compile project information into a document for website publication.
Work with student sustainability leaders to promote SCIF and related projects.
Compile resources to support students within the SCIF process.

Requirements

Must be a University of Utah full-time student.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess public speaking ability and organizational capacity.
Experience with program development, project management, social media communications, and data entry is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce and Canva is a plus, but not required.

Experience with Salesforce and Canva.

No specific formal qualifications required beyond being a full-time student at the University of Utah.
