Job Description

About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager at REsurety, you will play a crucial role in customer engagement, managing all aspects of the customer experience from contract signature through to facilitating transactions on the platform, CleanTrade. You will serve as a customer voice, supporting product, marketing, and compliance teams, with responsibilities including driving customer adoption, providing technical expertise, managing key accounts, and collaborating internally to improve product features and user experience. This role contributes to increasing user adoption and conversion rates and advancing the market for clean energy with liquidity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a deep subject matter expert on renewable energy, energy procurement, and energy market fundamentals.
  • Be customer outcome-driven: recognize customer problems and effectively drive toward a solution.
  • Drive operational excellence by striving to create efficiency.
  • Demonstrate analytical prowess, undertaking technical analysis using various analytical tools and datasets.
  • Be adept at sales processes and opportunistic thinking: match customers' needs with services currently available and identify opportunities for further growth.
  • Act as a technical expert on platform functionality: understand and operate effectively in the regulatory environment CleanTrade operates in, and be a guide to customers, channels, and sometimes internally.
  • Continuously learn about derivatives and commodities markets: energy, including renewable energy, oil and gas, electricity, futures, swaps, etc., and implement best practices for exchange operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with direct revenue responsibility.
  • 3+ years of experience in renewable energy or power markets.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics.
  • Articulate, personable, good at communicating directly, and enjoys being a team player.
  • A passion for empowering the clean, energy-fueled future.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of experience in an energy advisory role in renewable procurement and/or retail electricity supply markets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in renewable energy or power markets.
  • Experience in analytics.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with revenue responsibility.
