About the Role

The Technical Sales Director will lead the sales strategy for the electronics manufacturing division, focusing on driving revenue growth through the development of new business opportunities and management of existing accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of technical sales in the electronics sector to effectively communicate with clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to penetrate those markets effectively.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to create solutions that meet client specifications.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in technical sales, with a proven track record in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with data center solutions and account management practices is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales
