About the Role

JBT Marel (JBTM) is a global technology solutions provider to the food processing and air transportation industries. We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Services Sales Manager to join our team. The role involves selling technical services and products, including maintenance, repair, support, and consumables to customers in the food processing industry, requiring a strong technical understanding and excellent sales skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential customers in the food processing industry.
  • Promote and sell our technical services and products, including maintenance, repair, calibration, support and consumables.
  • Expert knowledge in process controls including; PLC's, Embedded Controllers and Electronic Measuring device.
  • Understand food processing equipment for shelf-stable and extended shelf life products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical service solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven track record in technical services sales, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of food processing equipment and systems.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a successful history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with process controls including PLC's, Embedded Controllers, and Electronic Measuring devices.

Qualifications
