About the Role

At HUB International, we are a team of entrepreneurs who believe in protecting and supporting the aspirations of individuals, families, and businesses. We help clients evaluate risks and develop tailored solutions. Our Communications & Design team creates multi-channel campaigns, focusing on Employee Benefit Communications to engage employees and simplify benefits information. We are seeking an experienced temporary writer to help keep our work fresh, inclusive, and engaging, making insurance easy to understand and even fun.

Key Responsibilities

Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
Peer review communications for style, substance, grammar, spelling, and editing, as needed.
Update documents in Adobe InDesign and WordPress.
Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice for each client.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred.
1+ years of writing experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
Proficiency in WordPress.
Demonstrated computer proficiency (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to compose clear and concise correspondence.
Willingness to dedicate extra time and attention to complete tasks when required.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism or another related communications field.
Employee benefits knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and WordPress.

Qualifications

Associate degree (2-year degree).
1-2 years of relevant experience.
