About the Role

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our Connecticut and New York (excluding upstate) territory at Atos Medical, a global specialized medical device company and leader in laryngectomy care and tracheostomy products. The role involves expanding business with current customers, acquiring new accounts, and leveraging sales strategies and relationship-building skills to drive performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed all defined sales targets outlined in the territory plan.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to meet sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with other Territory Sales Managers and internal staff to support broader business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and clients/patients, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent the company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients, patients, and partners.
  • Promote the full range of Atos Medical products—both manufactured and distributed—as assigned.
  • Instruct and educate end-users, caregivers, and clinicians on the safe and appropriate use of products.
  • Monitor product usage and report misuse or safety concerns immediately.
  • Work closely with the Customer Support Group to qualify and follow up with potential customers.
  • Promptly report customer complaints involving potential harm from product use.
  • Document daily account activities using company tools and manage company assets responsibly.
  • Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and meetings, sharing market intelligence and insights.
  • Continuously seek professional growth and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Outside Medical Sales.
  • Availability for extensive travel (60%+) including overnights.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's License and own or lease a late model automobile suitable for the position.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain hospital/vendor credentialing, including compliance with health, safety, and background standards.
