Key Responsibilities

Perform configuration and testing on specialized data processors and controller services used to process, transform, and route mission data.
Conduct both manual and automated testing of the functionality of the NiFi components.
Perform hands-on testing of NiFi components and collaborate with systems engineering and development teams to implement test automation.
Test deployment of code and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker in a cloud AWS environment.
Provide overall leadership of the T&E task and serve as primary liaison to the government for supporting contract coordination and task execution.
Communicate issues and solutions to the broader government and contract management structure as requested by leadership.
Manage T&E resources and tasks, ensuring quality assurance of test processes and products.
Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving T&E status to help manage program risk, develop alternative courses of action, work-arounds, and fall-back positions, and monitor and re-evaluate risks at appropriate milestones.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of additional TE experience in lieu of a degree.
Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Ability to provide overall leadership of the T&E task and serve as primary liaison to the government for supporting contract coordination and task execution.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Nice to Have

Experience working in Agile development environments utilizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and testing complex Java-based applications.
Strong background in test engineering and integration of modern hardware and software systems.
Skilled in developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, including test plans, traceability matrices, test procedures, and detailed reports.
Ability to write thorough, well-structured test cases and effectively document and track defects or discrepancies.
Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and SynapseRT.
Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Dataflow technologies, and mission-specific data formats.
Proficient in using the Linux command line and scripting to support testing activities.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Qualifications
