About the Role

The Transplant Account Manager (TAM) at CareDx, Inc. is responsible for driving adoption and volume growth of the company's transplant diagnostics portfolio. The role focuses on transplant center and community nephrology account customers, collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute account growth strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of account needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell relevant CareDx products, solutions, or services.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Create and implement long-term, account-specific strategies and tactics to drive adoption, gain market share, expand the CareDx footprint, and meet commercial goals.
  • Possess an understanding of therapeutic areas, scientific concepts, testing platforms, mechanisms, processes, and supportive clinical studies.
  • Identify key customer stakeholders and influencers, establishing strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Forecast and manage the sales pipeline and growth strategies, tracking progress towards objectives at both the account and regional levels.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for regional leadership, providing insights into strategy effectiveness and ROI.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Commercial, Marketing, Customer Experience, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Operations to develop solutions addressing customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years sales or strategic account management experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, hospital/health systems, and/or enterprise-level accounts.
  • Track record of developing effective account strategies that maximize business outcomes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% or greater, including day trips and overnight travel.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.com, and analytical tools.
  • Results-driven, strategic thinker, patient-focused, problem solver, with strong communication skills, persistence, self-awareness, and adaptability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with therapeutic areas, scientific concepts, and clinical studies.
  • Experience in digital healthcare solutions or genomics-based information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA (preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant sales or account management experience in healthcare.
