(USA) Quality Engineer III

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute blackbox/white-box/functional test cases for embedded clients and firmware.
• Perform validation and exploratory/manual test coverage to ensure accuracy of ACR data.
• Conduct test executions on the full technical stack from embedded clients to SOC firmware.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering/QA teams to identify and address test coverage gaps.
• Automate manual test cases using BDD frameworks and report/document test coverage.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies and experience in device testing, API testing, or embedded systems.
• Strong analytical mind, critical-thinking skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience with device/cloud automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across different divisions.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area.
• Quality assurance certification (e.g., CSTE, CSQA).
• Related industry experience (retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare).
• Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Experience with digital accessibility, assistive technologies, and accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
