About the Role

Join Walmart/VIZIO as a Senior Software Engineer in our Content Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, shape software solutions, and drive the future of digital content. The Content Services team is dedicated to delivering top-tier digital content experiences with a focus on innovation and scalability, playing a crucial role in achieving business objectives and enhancing product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable software solutions using .NET and C#.
  • Implement and maintain AWS-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create user stories.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software code.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of development experience with .NET and C#.
  • Expertise in scalable distributed systems and AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL technologies like MongoDB.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with software algorithms and containers/orchestration.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
