About the Role

Robert Half's enterprise client is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to join their team on a long-term contract basis onsite in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences for a range of products and platforms. This position offers the opportunity to explore innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction while addressing business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the UX vision across web and responsive platforms, ensuring consistency and usability.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma to communicate design intent.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
Develop and maintain UI specifications, design systems, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, requirements, and timelines.
Present design work to stakeholders and executives, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
Balance platform consistency with device-specific needs, especially in dashboard and data-heavy interfaces.

Requirements

5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in enterprise or e-commerce environments.
Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, and responsive web design.
Strong research skills, including usability testing and persona development.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
Proven ability to deliver user-centered designs that meet business goals.
Familiarity with content design systems and complex data structures.

Nice to Have

Experience designing dashboards, tables, and structured data interfaces.
Previous UX experience with eCommerce or marketplace environments is a plus.
Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance.
Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
Willingness to travel for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
Degree in Design or a related field.
