UX Analyst (15860-2)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate device UX (Samsung One UI) with carriers, gather feedback, and work closely with designers in South Korea to enhance Samsung device experience.
• Review and analyze UX in early phases of development and deliver relevant feedback.
• Communicate and cooperate with internal teams such as product design, research, engineering, and marketing, as well as external partners like telecommunication operators and external consultants.
• Ensure that UI development results meet market demand, technical specifications, and carrier requirements.
• Analyze UX of competing mobile devices and market trends in mobile UX.
• Conduct design research and propose new concepts with mockups.
• Conduct group usability studies and document results and analysis.
• Track, manage, and resolve UX issues during the product lifecycle.
• Identify risks, provide tactical support, and manage project schedules and stakeholder updates.
• Review and analyze Samsung UX feedback, and lead communication with Samsung designers and carriers.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of industry experience or 1+ years with a master's degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Human factors, Human computer interactions, Interaction Design, Usability engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, or Information Technology; Master's preferred.
• Experience in designing mobile applications from research to delivering design artifacts.
• Deep knowledge of application architecture, software design process, and UI/UX design deliverables.
• Strong time and project management skills under tight deadlines managing multiple projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and reporting to multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and strong ownership.
• Design and research experience, including usability testing.
• Working knowledge of usability testing and design tools such as Adobe, Sketch, or other prototyping tools.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to apply critical thinking to design critiques and suggest solutions.
• Deep understanding of design, product, and UX principles.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with design and communication tools like Adobe, Sketch, or other prototyping tools.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of application architecture and software design process.
• Experience in working with telecommunication operators and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of industry experience or 1+ years with a master's degree.
