About the Role

The UX Product Designer will collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop user-centered designs based on research, insights, and best practices. This role involves driving a continual cycle of design iterations and delivering end-to-end solutions for software applications at scale. The position can be based in Dallas, TX or remote, and is a long-term contract opportunity paying $100 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop user-centered designs based on research and insights.
Drive a continual cycle of design iterations to improve user experience.
Translate user research, user needs, and product data into informed design solutions.
Present work and rationale to senior leadership and advocate for user needs within business and technology contexts.
Deliver end-to-end design solutions from initial concepts to measurable outcomes.

Requirements

7+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
Solid understanding of design point of view and aesthetics.
Experience with the latest design tools such as Figma, Adobe, etc.
Expertise in UX best practices and designing for iOS, Android, and responsive web.
Demonstrated experience working with research, product, marketing, and engineering teams.
Ability to translate user research, user needs, and product data into design solutions.
Experience presenting work and rationale to senior leadership.
Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment utilizing tools like Confluence and Jira.
A portfolio website or PDF with examples of mobile and responsive web product design.
Experience shipping high-level software applications at scale.
