About the Role

The Vice President- Data and AI Advisor/Sales at Genpact is a leadership role focused on driving growth of Data and AI solutions within targeted industry verticals such as High Tech, Software, Services, and Manufacturing. The role involves creating transformational value propositions, establishing strategic client relationships, and leading sales efforts for advanced data and AI offerings, including platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. The position supports Genpact's vision of leveraging AI at scale to help clients transform and accelerate growth, working at the intersection of technology, business, and innovation in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor by establishing relationships with clients and assisting them in thinking through challenging business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients' businesses and use of leading Data Platforms (specifically Databricks, Snowflake), AI, and LLM technologies to craft transformational value propositions.
  • Proactively create, identify, and develop opportunities for GenAI/AI solutions.
  • Provide domain and digital solution expertise to internal teams, including participation in RFI, RFP, bids, customer-facing sessions, assessments, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and scope new opportunities across analytics, technology, experience, and digital delivery.
  • Own revenue and bookings targets for dedicated Data AI industry segments and maintain up-to-date revenue forecasts.
  • Build trusted relationships with Data Partners and their sales leadership to introduce innovative solutions.
  • Develop new offerings and thought leadership marketing to expand Genpact's market positioning.
  • Own delivery estimations, solutioning, and pricing for client solutions, and work with clients on legal aspects of customer agreements, licenses, SOWs, and change requests.

Requirements

  • Deep Data and AI product knowledge in one or more Data platforms, with proven experience in solutioning and selling data and AI transformation solutions, data migration, and data management services.
  • Experience managing sales, booking, and margin targets.
  • Ability to articulate the value of digital and transformation solutions to both business and technical audiences.
  • Relevant industry and sales experience in High Tech, Hardware, Software, Services, or Manufacturing.
  • Deep expertise in developing Data and AI solutions within multi-tech, multi-cloud, SaaS, and on-premise stacks.
  • Executive presence and experience engaging with clients at C-Suite, EVP, VP, and technical levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with travel varying from 25% to 100% depending on business needs.

Nice to Have

  • Deep expertise in specific industry verticals such as Manufacturing, High Tech Software, Hardware, Hospitality, Services, Logistics, Media, Telco, or Entertainment.
  • Experience driving front, middle, and back-office transformation in Manufacturing or High Tech firms.
  • Experience applying groundbreaking AI/GenAI technologies to business problems across digital software and SaaS products.
  • Understanding of business dynamics based on digitalization and GenAI disruption.
  • Technical understanding of full stack AI architecture, integrations, and domain expertise.
  • Strong services business acumen, including solutioning, estimating, and negotiating commercial constructs.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
