About the Role

The Vice President - Global Upstream Marketing, EP, is a strategic leadership role responsible for steering marketing initiatives, product management, and clinical evidence marketing within the MedTech organization, focusing on electrophysiology and related products. The role involves partnering with R&D, leading global marketing strategies, and driving product development and commercialization to improve health outcomes worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy that supports the company's business goals and drives revenue growth.
  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and global commercial strategies.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of products, from conception through development, launch, and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regions, and operations, to define product specifications and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition.
  • Partner with downstream marketing and regional teams to ensure market voice is reflected in launch strategies and pipeline execution.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Align closely with sales, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive and compliant marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall corporate strategy as a member of the senior leadership team.
  • Generate compelling clinical evidence to support market claims and develop product narratives leveraging clinical data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, General Management, Clinical research, or related fields.
  • Experience leading strategic global organizations.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular industry and clinical electrophysiology preferred.
  • Ability to operate in highly complex, hybrid, and diversified markets.
  • Strong understanding of clinical study requirements and global regulatory organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Product and clinical application expertise.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage change effectively.
  • Broad business knowledge with P&L management experience, including forecasting and financial skills.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel may be required.

  • Advanced degree such as M.B.A. highly preferred.
  • Experience in the cardiovascular industry and clinical electrophysiology.
  • Experience in highly complex, diversified markets.
  • Ability to stimulate innovation in marketing through identification of unmet needs.
  • Experience with regulatory organizations globally.

Benefits & Perks

  • Base salary range of $194,000 - $356,500.
