About the Role

The Vice President of Growth Marketing at Illumio is responsible for leading and evolving the company's growth marketing strategy across enterprise and self-serve channels. This role involves driving customer acquisition, engagement, activation, and expansion through product-led and enterprise go-to-market motions. The position is part of Illumio's marketing team, which aims to illuminate and evolve the global brand, support revenue growth, and empower sales success within a company recognized for its innovative cybersecurity solutions and collaborative, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the company's Growth Marketing strategy across enterprise and self-serve channels.
  • Drive programs that accelerate customer acquisition, engagement, activation, and expansion through product-led and enterprise GTM motions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team across digital, performance, lifecycle, and experimentation functions.
  • Optimize funnel performance and identify new growth opportunities, such as innovative marketing campaigns, partnerships, or product features.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, customer success, and other teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize analytics platforms and performance metrics to monitor campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in marketing, with strong experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, and enterprise GTM.
  • Proven success scaling both enterprise and high-velocity acquisition funnels.
  • Growth mindset with hands-on experience in PLG models, experimentation, and funnel optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and use insights to optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term growth strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Obsession with user journeys, conversion, and crafting high-impact growth loops.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI and advanced analytics tools.
  • Experience in leadership roles within cybersecurity or SaaS companies.
  • Familiarity with hybrid multi-cloud environments and breach containment platforms.
