About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect the Marketing Strategy: Own the end-to-end marketing vision for Oncology solutions, including developing market segmentation, product positioning, and messaging that resonates with clinical audiences.
  • Drive Commercial Growth: Develop and execute integrated marketing plans in partnership with Oncology GM and Sales leadership to contribute to revenue growth, increase market share, and meet business objectives.
  • Craft Compelling Narratives & Campaigns: Translate complex genomic and clinical concepts into clear stories and design multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate demand and establish Tempus as a thought leader in precision oncology.
  • Foster Deep Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a strategic partner to Product, R&D, Sales, and Medical Affairs to synchronize and optimize commercial and product strategies.
  • Build a World-Class Content Engine: Oversee creation and dissemination of impactful content such as clinical publications, white papers, sales tools, and digital assets.
  • Establish a Data-Driven Marketing Culture: Define, track, and report on KPIs and marketing ROI to optimize campaign performance and resource allocation.
  • Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Mentor, develop, and recruit talented marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior roles within oncology, diagnostics, life sciences, or related healthcare technology fields.
  • Deep scientific and market expertise in oncology, including diagnostics, genomics, and clinical workflows.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to translate complex scientific concepts into clear value propositions.
  • Proven track record in developing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and adoption.
  • Experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to manage complex projects through influence.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Analytically minded with experience using data to drive strategy and measure impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience with digital marketing and content creation.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $190,000-$250,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
