Vice President of eCommerce

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the $100M eCommerce business with full P&L ownership of the business unit (LifeisGood.com and marketplaces).
• Lead a large team encompassing Merchandising, Performance Marketing, eCommerce Operations, and eCommerce Technology.
• Oversee the merchandising team that builds the merchandising plan, manages product buying, inventory levels, and email marketing content.
• Lead the performance marketing team responsible for paid social, SEM, SEO, affiliate partnerships, direct mail, and site analytics.
• Manage the eCommerce operations team to handle site changeouts, testing, product launches, project management, email deployment, inventory feeds, and customer communications.
• Guide the eCommerce technology team in website enhancements, emerging technology research, and ensuring scalable technology solutions.
• Negotiate and execute eCommerce contracts and service-level agreements.
• Identify and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
• Analyze and report on sales, profitability, and marketing efforts to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost savings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibility for an enterprise eCommerce business.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Proven track record of growing top and bottom-line results.
• Extensive experience with the four pillars of eCommerce: Merchandising, Performance Marketing, Operations, and Technology.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and presentation skills.
• Deep experience in eCommerce, preferably in the apparel industry.
• Experience leading a broad and talented team of internal and external professionals.
