About the Role

Join Woodstream as our Vice President of Insect Device Brands in Lancaster, PA, and take the reins of Safer Home®, Dynatrap®, and Mosquito Magnet®. In this role you'll be the General Manager of a portfolio of exciting brands that solve everyday problems for consumers like pesky indoor flying insects and keeping outdoor entertaining space mosquito free. You'll shape the brand building strategy, launch new product innovations, and build powerful internal partnerships with all functions in the company (sales, finance, marketing, operations) and external partnerships with retail partners such as Walmart, Amazon, Lowe's, and Tractor Supply Co.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization in plans that consistently deliver the annual FY growth objectives including NIS (top-line sales), EBIDTA (bottom-line sales), and market dollar-share.
  • Manage the P&L to deliver topline growth above market growth, resulting in share gains, and manage product mix and profitability to grow EBITDA and contribution margin percentage.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships within the Brand & Marketing organization, including direct reports, peers, and functional leadership, as well as with external partners such as Finance, Sales, Supply, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Sourcing teams.
  • Partner with the New Product Development team to identify, qualify, and execute new product launches that meet long-term growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communication teams to deliver effective brand building communications across various touchpoints and channels, and improve marketing ROI.
  • Influence customers, evaluate financial feasibility of opportunities, and ensure on-time, in-full delivery of products to retailers.
  • Partner with sales for successful new product sell-ins, line reviews, and growth of distribution and promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with Amazon, including planning and evaluating investments in top and bottom funnel activities.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture and developing entry-level talent.
  • Engage frequently with executive leadership including the CEO, CFO, Chief Sales Officer, and department heads, and present to the Board of Directors as needed.

Requirements

  • College degree: BA/BS required (marketing, economics, advertising); MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of total Sales/Marketing experience.
  • Strong computer literacy including all Microsoft Software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical ability and experience managing P&Ls.
  • Ability to present complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience in developing and executing growth strategies within the CPG business model.
  • Experience working with retail partners, including presenting to buyers and managing retail relationships.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build internal and external partnerships.
  • Comfort working with Amazon as a key customer and managing related investments.

Qualifications

  • College degree (BA/BS), preferably in marketing, economics, or advertising.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles.
