Vice President of Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead programs in brand strategy, brand structure and visualization, client insights, customer segmentation, innovation, growth strategies, internal communication, and organizational change.
• Manage content creation, creative services, social media strategy, marketing campaigns, product and vendor marketing, and collateral development.
• Enable commercial success through multi-channel integrated marketing strategies working collaboratively across a matrixed organization.
• Understand target customers, their buyer journey, and communicate Lessen's unique value proposition effectively.
• Manage and develop the marketing team while reporting to the CEO or delegate and partnering with sales leaders.
• Create and improve marketing strategies and programs to build market awareness among customers, partners, and analysts.
• Lead enterprise-wide Public Relations efforts.
• Translate marketplace and client insights into strategies and innovative marketing programs.
• Position Lessen through different client and partner segments.
• Influence growth strategy via messaging, lead generation, market penetration, and client success enablement.
• Oversee creation and execution of live events and roadshows.
• Develop and report on marketing performance metrics and KPIs.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant brand management and/or marketing experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and growing teams.
• 7+ years of experience partnering with agencies and internal leadership to achieve objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating the company's value proposition through original content.
• Experience in internal/employee communications.
• BS/MS in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in developing and deploying growth strategies.
• Experience partnering with enterprise sales to build marketing strategies and programs.
• Genuine fascination for the problems the company is working to solve.
• Skilled at communication and relationship building.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications
