About the Role

The VP of Growth Marketing at ZenBusiness Inc. is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies to drive customer acquisition, optimize marketing channels, and improve overall marketing performance. The role involves close collaboration across teams, leveraging data and analytics, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This remote position reports to the CMO and aims to support entrepreneurs by expanding the company's reach and efficiency in growth marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and drive the customer acquisition and growth strategy to meet and exceed customer acquisition, CAC efficiency, and ROAS goals.
  • Research industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform growth strategies and acquisition efforts.
  • Evolve the acquisition engine across SEO, LLM search, paid media, affiliate partnerships, email nurturing, conversion optimization, and pricing and packaging.
  • Identify and scale new, efficient growth channels to reduce reliance on search-based traffic sources.
  • Oversee the full customer acquisition journey to ensure a consistent experience across all touchpoints, including marketing channels, email nurturing, website, funnel, and checkout.
  • Lead ongoing experimentation across landing pages, funnels, offers, and pricing to improve conversion rates, CAC, AOV, and ROAS.
  • Improve and expand measurement and attribution methods to ensure proper analysis and optimization of marketing efforts.
  • Help establish and define marketing and product roadmaps to deliver wins across channel diversification, conversion, and revenue optimization.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, Technology, Data, and Finance to align on shared goals.
  • Establish goals and set budgets in collaboration with leadership, leveraging data analytics and performance analysis to identify opportunities and drive results.
  • Consistently meet and exceed goals for new customer acquisition, conversion volume, CAC, AOV, and ROAS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in growth marketing or related roles with 8+ years in management positions.
  • Strong track record of achieving growth and efficiency targets across multiple channels.
  • Proven leadership experience as a change agent for high-performing acquisition and growth marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with an experimentation framework to improve conversion and revenue.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience in data-driven growth marketing tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Experience in high-velocity environments, ideally at the post-startup, pre-public stage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Understanding of LTV expansion and retention best practices.
  • Knowledge of macOS and G-Workspace.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred.
