About the Role

VP of Business Development Buffalo, NY Company Hiring - A national Consumer Products company undergoing significant growth in their markets and based in Buffalo, NY. The Job - You will be a key leader for the company's growth strategy to further build on a strong national brand in the food service space as a right hand to the EVP of the organization. You will develop sales and marketing strategies in your categories and work with a strong sales team to execute on the plan as well as manage broker/distributor networks. This role will have significant input into long and short team plan development as well as pricing strategies, new product development, packaging and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sales and marketing strategies in assigned categories.
Work with the sales team to execute on strategic plans.
Manage broker and distributor networks.
Contribute to long and short-term team planning.
Assist in developing pricing strategies, new product development, packaging, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

BS/MBA in Business with emphasis in marketing and consumer products.
10-15 years of significant sales and marketing leadership experience with national accounts and brands.
Strong mentorship background and record of building high performing teams.
Excellent communicator who interacts effectively with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams.
Team-oriented and builder mindset.
