About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee global marketing: Lead the strategy and execution to increase the size, loyalty, and profitability of our customer base across all channels.
• Act as the voice of the customer: Ensure that a deep understanding of learners and teachers informs and inspires our marketing, product, and company strategy.
• Drive sustainable growth: Partner with product, data analytics and other teams to craft and deliver compelling campaigns that consistently expand our customer base.
• Lead a high-performing team: Inspire and motivate a diverse marketing team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Build a world-class brand: Evolve the company's positioning and storytelling to popularize our mission, differentiate our offering, and deepen customer loyalty and connection.
• Innovate across channels: Find and test new opportunities in digital, content, partnerships, and community marketing to unlock new growth levers.
• Measure what matters: Define, monitor, and be accountable for marketing KPIs, ensuring that all strategies are grounded in data and tied to business impact.
• Drive subscriber quality and retention: Prioritize campaigns and strategies that drive new signups and optimize for long-term customer value and retention.

Requirements

• 12+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Expertise in a range of marketing functions, from performance marketing, conversion optimization, and b2b demand generation to brand building, PR, and storytelling.
• Strong background within growth marketing with a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle rather than just one part of the marketing funnel.
• Ed-Tech background.
• Startup experience.
