VP of Product Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, and develop a high performing team that includes product marketing and analyst relations.
• Accelerate go-to-market efforts to drive growth through messaging, positioning, storytelling, and competitive insights.
• Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple products, verticals, partners, and personas.
• Tap into market and competitive intelligence to develop effective messaging that reflects the differentiated value of the products and platform.
• Partner with sales enablement to ensure sales and partners are prepared to pitch product value, new capabilities, and Eightfold differentiation.
• Lead and collaborate with marketing, product management, customer success, professional services, enablement, and sales teams to execute product launches that highlight innovation and drive demand.
• Develop sales tools and content for the demand generation team to support customer acquisition and expansion.
• Define, articulate, and evangelize Eightfold's AI transformation story.
• Speak at conferences, press interviews, and industry analyst briefings as a thought leader and subject matter expert.

Requirements

• 15+ years of enterprise SaaS product marketing experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in a senior-level people management position.
• Demonstrated experience establishing product marketing functions, including buyer personas, buyer journeys, product launches, sales decks, and marketing plans.
• Experience marketing to both business and IT audiences with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and simple way, with a compelling storytelling ability.
• Proven track record in thought leadership and category creation.
• Experienced manager and leader capable of hiring, developing, and inspiring teams with senior members.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
• Position is based in Santa Clara, CA, with flexibility for remote work.
