About the Role

This VP, OnePay Analytics role will be a critical member of the team, reporting directly to the SVP, Analytics Leader - OnePay. The individual will support end-to-end analytics delivery for the portfolio, design strategic analytics initiatives, develop roadmaps with milestones, build analytical frameworks, and manage project execution. The role involves building strong relationships with clients and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing with data-driven storytelling, and collaborating across analytics teams to implement scalable solutions and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop decision optimization agenda in conjunction with the OnePay Analytics Leader to drive profitable growth for the program.
  • Design analytics strategies aligned to program goals, develop roadmaps with milestones, and ensure seamless execution of multiple projects.
  • Partner with growth teams to establish learning agendas, develop omni-channel marketing strategies, and design advanced analytics methods such as Machine Learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for growing new accounts, sales, and profitability.
  • Analyze customer journeys, conversion funnels, and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities for improvement in the digital wallet experience.
  • Develop solutions to influence data-driven customer experience changes at scale and drive incremental program performance.
  • Design A/B testing to enhance user engagement and improve wallet features, product, and offer placements.
  • Leverage analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to measure attribution and monitor performance trends.
  • Build trust with clients as an analytics advocate and establish strong relationships.
  • Establish operating rhythms with cross-functional teams to execute analytics roadmaps.
  • Use various data sources including proprietary data, client data, and third-party data to recommend business actions.
  • Influence business decisions with data-driven storytelling and advocate for data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with analytics Centers of Excellence to share capabilities and influence activation.
  • Conduct portfolio diagnostics, establish performance review rhythms, and design actions to grow the program and improve efficiencies.
  • Partner with offshore analysts to ensure high-quality analytics execution and reporting.
  • Drive productivity of reporting and measurement analytics using structured datasets, on-demand reports, and campaign measurement tools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to solve complex business problems with actionable insights.
  • Deliver hands-on analytics projects and perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field, or high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant experience in marketing analytics within financial services, credit card, or payments industry.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of work experience including 5+ years using tools like SAS, SQL, Tableau or similar data analysis tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with statistical analysis tools and data warehouse tools.
  • 3+ years of experience within the financial services, credit card payments, or retail/credit industry.
  • 3+ years leading large-scale analytics projects.
  • 3+ years of client-facing experience.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or any Quantitative field.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or MBA with Systems and Marketing specialization.
  • Experience in digital analytics and digital wallets.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Ability to develop and use machine learning algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as R, Python, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
  • Advanced Tableau dashboarding skills and experience with AI capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Retail or Credit Card products.
  • Ability to influence senior decision makers.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and executive presence skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
