About the Role

The Wealth Client Marketing Senior Consultant is responsible for building valuable relationships with Wealth business leaders to translate business, client, and product strategies into supporting marketing strategies. The role involves applying knowledge of customer and client behavior to inform product strategy development, segmentation, and targeting. The position requires collaboration with internal and external marketing partners to develop and execute marketing programs aligned with the company's purpose and brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply in-depth and specialized expertise in Marketing and related disciplines including creative development and market research.
  • Manage large marketing initiatives utilizing all marketing channels, including digital.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges, including client needs and the competitive marketplace, and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of business operations to solve technical, operational, and business problems.
  • Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
  • Mentor less experienced teammates to develop their technical expertise.
  • Directly impact the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.
  • May have people management responsibilities.
  • Work independently, with guidance only in complex and unusual situations.
  • Deliver programs on budget and on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in wealth management marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and methodologies associated with marketing, including digital channels and market research.
  • Experience managing or leading projects or work streams as a lead in a specialty capacity.
  • Knowledge of client needs, competitive landscape, and factors differentiating Truist from competitors.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to diverse audiences and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to teammates.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including preparing presentations for senior-level audiences.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Ten years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in wealth management, financial services, retail, or packaged goods industries.
  • Experience in consumer, commercial, corporate, or wealth banking product and/or segment marketing.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Relevant experience in wealth management marketing or related fields.
