About the Role

The role involves digging deep into data, developing robust reporting solutions, and supporting organizational scaling through analytics. The position is based in San Jose, CA, with open remote options, and focuses on leveraging Adobe Analytics and other data sources to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic analytics projects and present clearly communicated findings that lead to impactful insights for key partners
Co-design A/B experiments and own test readouts and analyses
Support ad-hoc querying and analyses to understand customer behavior, investigate emerging trends, and diagnose data discrepancies
Build data pipelines and reporting solutions, primarily around Adobe Analytics clickstream data
Partner with the Adobe Analytics Enablement team to understand, validate, and architect instrumentation and data flow
Craft and build data sets for investigative analyses and scalable reporting solutions
Devise and share reporting requirements with partner teams responsible for building and maintaining productized reporting/data solutions
Collaborate with various teams to ensure ongoing data quality
Manage expectations and relationships with stakeholders across different organizations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field; master's preferred
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
Proficiency in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets using SQL and/or SQL-like languages
Experience working with Apache Hadoop and related technology stack like Hive, Presto
Good attention to detail with the ability to stitch, calibrate, and quality control multiple data sources
Ability to explore new areas and find creative solutions to data problems
Ability to navigate organizational challenges persistently while maintaining focus on key goals
Utilizes efficient approaches that make good use of time and resources

Nice to Have

Web Analytics experience
Experience designing A/B tests and analyzing results
Experience with Adobe Analytics Workspace/Ad Hoc Analysis and web clickstream data
Solid understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistical modeling techniques, and data mining concepts
Proficiency in Python/Anaconda
Advanced Excel skills
