About the Role

The Web & Mobile Digital Specialist | Marketing at Henry Ford Health is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies to enhance the organization’s web and mobile platforms. This role involves driving engagement, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring the quality and usability of digital products across various channels, including websites, social media, and mobile applications. The specialist acts as a digital evangelist within the organization, collaborating with technical and business teams to create value and improve user experiences, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for web properties including web, mobile, SEO, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Design and develop web projects to enhance user experience.
  • Develop business and functional requirements and perform functional, regression, and system testing.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects in digital applications.
  • Supervise web projects, guiding strategy, prioritization, and tactical execution.
  • Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive web and mobile strategy to increase visibility and traffic.
  • Lead and influence senior leadership decisions regarding digital investments and strategies.
  • Build loyalty and increase engagement across online channels.
  • Establish and improve organization-wide standards, policies, and rules for web and mobile management.
  • Identify and recommend updates to digital standards based on performance metrics.
  • Advance the company's strategic perspective on digital technologies and serve as a champion for digital adoption.
  • Mentor and train employees on best practices for managing web content.
  • Work with the brand team to align digital initiatives with business objectives.
  • Lead and supervise external agency resources for complex digital projects.
  • Monitor trends in web and mobile channels and participate in governance committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technical, Advertising/Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in digital, social media, usability, and digital marketing.
  • Experience using Google Analytics to develop digital strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for projects.
  • High analytical ability to interpret data and requirements.
  • Knowledge of software languages and tools including HTML, JavaScript, SQL, SharePoint, and Sitecore.
  • Knowledge of hardware platforms, operating systems, and networking.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry dynamics.
