Web/UX Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and develop enhancements to improve website engagement on the Walden University websites.
• Perform website content updates, optimizations, page builds, and write development tickets and QA.
• Support website development and usability testing.
• Identify and implement website optimization opportunities to improve usability, ADA compliance, and visibility.
• Work with vendors and agency partners to execute projects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with IT on QA and UAT testing to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Support digital marketing and communications initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Maintain, review, and update all digital assets and materials.
• Stay current with digital marketing, web trends, and best practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.A. in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in digital marketing.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems required.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, Sitecore, Episerver, or Sitefinity.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on organizational needs.
• Highly organized and collaborative with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).
• Experience in digital marketing and web development.
