Job Description

About the Role

The Winchester - Product Management Specialist assists the team with executing new product processes, supporting product change authorization, sales and marketing data collection, manufacturing scheduling, competitive analysis, and coordinating with sales for new product strategies. The role involves supporting live-fire demonstrations and event presence for media, customers, and consumer events, as well as providing technical support for shooting promotion events. The position is based in Clayton, MO, and is part of Olin, a global leader in ammunition and chemical manufacturing that values diversity, inclusion, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate product change authorization and sales/marketing technical data collection for packaging.
  • Support manufacturing loading schedule development and execution.
  • Analyze competitive product activity and maintain information repositories.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to execute new product strategies to improve revenue.
  • Support live-fire demonstrations and event presence for relevant media, customers, and consumer events.
  • Provide technical support for shooting promotion events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school; Engineering, Business, Communication, Marketing, Engineering Management, or related technical field preferred.
  • Product development or relevant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of shooting, hunting, and ammunition products required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; Creative Design software knowledge preferred.
  • Sound analytical skills and attention to detail, with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication, data presentation, and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workload, multiple tasks, and shift demands, with a collaborative team approach.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Approximately 10% travel required.
  • Access to ITAR controlled technical data, contingent upon ability to obtain export license if required.

  • Degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or an equivalent international program.
